My name is Bud Lantzy..I am the owner of Guaranteeed Water Systems, Inc. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where the water was good so I didn't experience water problems until I was sixteen and my folks built a home in an area where everyone drilled their own well. Very soon after moving in we realized that the hardness in the water was preventing us from rinsing all the laundry detergent from our wash. When I wore a shirt outside in the summer heat and humidity the soap that had remained in the clothes would irritate the skin on my back! Then there was also the problem with iron stains.

I was third oldest of ten children and made the water treatment system my project. Dad had gone to Sears and bought a water softener but on water like ours it was difficult at best to keep it working. I went to a local water treatment dealership to seek help and the rest is history as they say. I've been in water treatment all my life.

When I got out of the service in 1969 I went to work for DuBois Chemical Company and basically was treating water chemically instead of using filtration. Once I graduated from Wayne State University I moved to Florida and by 1978 I opened my first water treatment dealership.

I called it Guaranteed Water Systems and I became a dealer for Lindsay water conditioning which eventually became Ecowater Systems. I sold that dealership and came out to California in 1982 but they are still going strong in Florida!

I'd always handled the Ecowater line and it was only by chance that I got to try the Kinetico line. I found out very quickly that we were having at least 70% fewer trouble calls with Kinetico systems. We officially made the switch in 1997 and have had no regrets. Kinetico Systems offer us a wide variety of equipment options that allow us to address various water problems with solutions that are 'tailor made" for the situation. The twin tank non-electronic design offers dependability and efficiency that leaves the others behind. My only regret is that I didn't get together with Kinetico years ago!!
